Pigeon nets are designed only to block entry, not to harm birds. A properly tensioned net is far less likely to entangle birds than a loose one. Before closing the area, we move the birds out and remove nests without eggs.

It depends on sun, wind and the material. UV-stabilised HDPE nets typically last several years in Mumbai and Pune conditions, and nets in shaded areas usually last longer. Re-tightening is covered as per our warranty plan.

In most cases, yes. The net is fixed on the outer edge, so you can use cloth hangers and open windows as usual, and air and light still come in.

If your only problem is pigeons, a pigeon net is the simplest fix. If you also need child or pet safety, an invisible grill gives fall protection; pigeons can still squeeze through a 2-inch gap, so many families add a net behind the grill.

We can clean the area before netting if needed, and it is listed separately in your quote. If you clean it yourself, wear a mask and gloves.

Most pigeon nets need a few small anchor points for a strong, long-lasting fit. If drilling is a concern, for example in a rented flat, tell us at the inspection and we will suggest the least invasive fixing.

Please do not throw away eggs or chicks. Wait until the young birds have left the nest, then close the area with a net. We can inspect and plan the netting so the birds are not harmed.

Pigeons return to places where they have nested or found food, so scaring them away rarely works for long. The usual long-term answer is to close the open area with a tight pigeon net (kabutar jali), clean the droppings and avoid feeding birds near your windows. Spikes can help on narrow ledges and AC tops.

A loosely fixed net can sag after a few monsoons. We fix the net on a stainless steel perimeter wire with SS hooks and pull it tight, which is designed to keep it firm through wind and rain. If it ever loosens, tell us and we will check it.

For pigeons we usually fit 50 mm mesh. If sparrows or smaller birds also come in, a 25 mm mesh closes the smaller gaps. We suggest the right size at the free inspection.
