How to Measure Your Balcony for an Invisible Grill Quote
By Sushil Shinde, Founder & Installation Head, SafeNest · Updated November 2026
Short answer: Measure the width and height of each opening in feet, multiply to get square feet, and add the areas together. Send these numbers with a photo taken from inside and your floor number on WhatsApp. We confirm everything at the free site inspection, agree the materials and quality with you, and then quote the price.

- Measure the width of the opening wall to wall, in feet.
- Measure the height from the parapet / sill to the slab above (or to the height you want covered).
- Width × height = area in sq ft. Example: a 10 ft × 4 ft balcony = 40 sq ft.
- Repeat for each window and add them up.
- Take one photo from inside showing the full opening and send it with your floor number and locality.
Most installers have a minimum charge for very small jobs, so mention every opening you might want covered.
